Keynote Speaker: Chris Nyhuis

Chris Nyhuis is the President and CEO of Vigilant, a global cybersecurity company that specializes in managed detection and response solutions. Prior to founding Vigilant in 2009, Chris served as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of a national automotive data analytics company where he developed groundbreaking methods for defending the company against advanced cyber attacks.

Chris has also spent time in the food supply chain and telecommunications industries protecting large national financial datasets and fortifying SCADA infrastructure environments.

Chris is a passionate philanthropist and socialpreneur who established Vigilant’s business model to provide social good around in the world. By directing 25% of Vigilant’s revenue toward international orphan, foster care and anti-child-slavery organizations, Chris is able to make a big impact and fulfill a personal calling. Chris lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with his wife and family. Chris is returning to the region after his first visit to Macedonia and Albania in 1997.
